CENTENARY TOURNAMENT!

Members will all be aware that our Club is 100 years old this year. To mark this momentous occasion, we will be holding a (very social!) Centenary Tournament on

SATURDAY, 16 JUNE, BETWEEN MIDDAY AND 2PM

This is an event with a difference - wooden rackets and white balls! If you have your own model - please bring it, otherwise we are pretty close to being donated the mandatory 20 weapons of destruction! Please also note that, to make the occasion as festive as possible, we would like all competitors to dress in anything which resembles pre 1960's tennis outfits - the older the better.

To enter, please add your name to the list on the clubhouse notice board or contact Dave Twist on 07971-535201 as soon as possible. In case you are struggling for an outfit, Dave can also advise on where to find one.

With only 8 places remaining of the 20 available you'll need to hurry!
The event is open to all - members, ex-members, relatives, and even members of other clubs.

After 2pm, there will be a short speech, followed by a traditional Afternoon Tea comprising sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and tea/coffee.

We have invited several local dignitaries and the local press so please, please, give us your support to show how much your Club means to YOU!
